Artifacts 2008 - 2021

08 February 2021

Last week, after a year of working from home, I picked up two boxes full of things that had lived in my desk drawers for more than a decade.

In the past ten years I've switched desks a dozen times and each time I prepare for an office move I chose again to retain a set of items that I must think were worth saving. As I unpacked these badges, pre-pregnancy work out gear, a lucky owl, a note from a colleague, I realized that in their sum these items told the story of a life that I've lived and given to this work.

Enjoy.
